Shot in the Dark, has been selected for the Official Competition in the Undergraduate category at the Ottawa 2009 International Animation Festival.

SUMMARY

Shot in the Dark is a story about a lonely artist who travels the city sketching everything that catches his eye. Everyday he is creating and searching for a purpose to keep going. Until one day a local coffee lady approaches him and it’s through her that his arts purpose is truly revealed.

DIRECTORbio

DUSTIN LINCOLN - DIRECTOR/ANIMATOR
He has been an illustrator for the last 26 years of his life. Dustin grew up in the Midwest, born in Kansas 83’ – lived in Iowa growing up. After high school he was off to study design at a local tech school. Once graduated with an Associates in Graphic Art he met and married his lovely wife Nichole who without which he would be lost. Soon after getting married he enrolled for classes at the Kansas City Art Institute where he has now graduated with a BFA in Animation. Currently his work is focused on visual storytelling. Dustin's dream is to attain the ability to live off of entertaining people through his art.
